We've been waiting for it and it's finally arrived... Ten Commandments - on DVD! Received my copy in the mail last week and really, just hearing Kevin sing "Glory of Ra" is enough reason to purchase it.
As a lovely side note, there's a "Behind the Scenes" extra feature on the dvd which shows a snippet of an interview with Kevin backstage at the Kodak Theatre.

I enjoyed seeing Nicholas Rodriguez as Aaron, too--he was our Jesus in JCSuperstar last fall at NSMT. Lauren Kennedy wasn't too shabby either, and the guy playing Joshua has a really strong set of pipes. But basically, Kevin blew Val Kilmer out of the water, vocally and with his presence. That said, the musical itself is pretty awful, it's just as well it didn't make it to the east coast, much as I'd like to see Kevin perform live again.
